School Library Book Program

For over 25 years, library books have been donated to elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the Eel River Valley.  The books are distributed to the school librarians and administrators at an annual Library Breakfast in January.    Our Bunco for Books events generates the funds to make this happen!

Christmas Gift Giving

Each Christmas at our annual President's Appeal Breakfast, we sponsor and support a family in need with gifts to help make their holiday a special occasion.

Shoe Box Program

Shoes are purchased for school-age children who need adequate shoes to attend school.  School counselors in the Eel River Valley work with SIERV to support this program along with the Fortuna Family Resource Center who manages the distribution of the shoes.
Thank you to the Eel River Valley Foundation for donating to our program!  Soroptimist President Debbie Scaife is with member Kay Chapman who received the donation on behalf of the Fortuna Family Resource Center from ERVF President Pam Murphy.
