Founded in 1921, Soroptimist is an International Organization of women working in local communities and around the world to improve the lives of women and girls.  We help women and girls live their dreams by giving them resources to create a positive change for themselves, their families, their communities, and the world.
Located 250 miles north of San Francisco, Soroptimist International of Eel River Valley is dedicated to improving the lives of woman and girls through service, leadership, and fellowship.

What is Soroptimist?

The name, Soroptimist, means "best for women," and that's what the organization strives to achieve. Soroptimists are women at their best, working to help other women to be their best.
